Balaji Ganesan is CEO and co-founder of Privacera. Before Privacera, Balaji and Privacera co-founder Don Bosco Durai, also founded XA Secure. XA Secure’s was acquired by Hortonworks, who contributed the product to the Apache Software Foundation and rebranded as Apache Ranger. Apache Ranger is now deployed in thousands of companies around the world, managing petabytes of data in Hadoop environments. Privacera’s product is built on the foundation of Apache Ranger and provides a single pane of glass for securing sensitive data across on-prem and multiple cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP, Snowflake, and Starburst and more.

Don Bosco Durai (Bosco) is CTO and co-founder of Privacera, an entrepreneur and a thought leader in enterprise security. He is the co-creator of Apache Ranger, which is the de facto centralized authorization tool for most open source big data tools. Prior to founding Privacera, Bosco was also the co-founder of XA Secure, which redefined access security at scale. XA Secure was acquired by Hortonworks (now Cloudera) and the product became Apache Ranger. Before that Bosco was the co-founder of Bharosa, which did fraud detection in real-time. Bharosa was acquired by Oracle and at Oracle, Bosco led the modernization of access management for their Fortune 500 customers.

Piet Loubser serves as Global Senior Vice President of Marketing at Privacera where he is responsible for leading all aspects of marketing. His professional career includes more than 30 years in the Hi-Tech industry driving product, sales and marketing strategies in numerous companies transforming product focused GTM into customer solutions centric GTM to accelerate growth. Prior to Privacera, Piet held executive leadership positions in marketing and sales at market leading companies including SymphonyAI, Paxata, Hortonworks, Informatica, SAP and Business Objects. As part of the executive leadership teams at these global technology companies, he has built deep expertise across the entire Product to GTM value chain to drive growth strategies at all levels of organizational size. Piet holds a B.S. degree in computer science and applied mathematics from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
